We are committed to complete public access to computers and the Internet. To ensure complete accessibility of Information Technologies (ITs) two of our labs are equipped with adaptive hardware and life skills software tailored to the disabled client. For more information about our lab equipment or software click on the Computer Labs link in the side navigation menu.

Accessibility of ITs to the public is furthered through affordable Computer Courses on introductory basics like "How to Surf the Web", "How to Use Email", "Office Basics", and "Introduction to Web Design". For more information on our computer courses click on the E-learning link or the Computer Courses link in the side navigation menu.

In addition to our public services, St-AlbertCAP.com offers free or low cost computer services to nonprofit community groups. Organizations with a limited budget will be able to develop a Web page, develop a Web presence with a link on our site, have their Web site hosted by CAP, take advantage of our computer courses, and book the computer labs for training their clients or members. For more information about our services for nonprofit groups click on the Member's Benefits link in the side navigation menu.

Vision

St-AlbertCAP.com has a vision of an online community of organizations in St. Albert. That community would include nonprofit organizations, government services, tourism services, businesses, and educational institutions across all of the sectors. The online community will be where people go to find their information about St. Albert: what groups and resources exist, what events are happening, and what courses are being offered. In 2004 CAP will go online with BookIt! a program that will enable users to register and make payments for community events, courses, or drop-in activities online.

We want St-AlbertCAP.com to be the hub of a networked community that works together to increase awareness about our community, to promote our local organizations and services, to create a Web presence for local groups, and to share resources and support one another in partnerships.

We not only envision a connected community of organizations but we also want every citizen of St. Albert to be connected to Information Technologies through the use of accessible Computer Labs, Computer Kiosks, and Computer Training.
